As pointed out, the confirmation is lacking, but assuming for a second it is accurate, I would call it hedging the bet - the story at the end of the day has to stand on its own merits, but tying it to the first 9 brings back the fans to at least view it. Honestly as toxic as the “fanbase” has become, it could be Oscar worthy and it won’t matter. That’s the sad truth. For me, everything Star Wars has both good and bad elements. Some are better than others, but I always watch and I will watch it the first week it comes out regardless of title or plot.

I watched this film when it came out. I like to laugh and I have a good sense of humor. I don't think i laughed once in this entire film. I thought it was really stupid. I didn't get it then and I can't understand why they're doing a sequel. Is that what its come to in Hollywood? Executives pacing around the room thinking what film they could make a sequel to? That's called phoning it in.

I will say. As mixed as the SW shows are in terms of quality. I have been more then pleased with their animation efforts. Visions, Rebels, Bad Batch ,CW Final Season and Tales of. Very fun Star Wars stories.
